Our Fall perfume edit to complete your ensemble

If CK One defined the 90s with its unisex aroma - anticipating the gender agnostic wave to follow - this season’s fragrances are an ode to womanhood, courtesy the #MeToo movement. While we witnessed the merging of couture and politics on the runway this fall, this season also boasts unique perfumes to unleash your feminine or androgynous side. From woody notes to breathtaking florals, autumn's latest fragrances offer something for everyone. We bring you our favourites to inspire fall magic:

Dior
The elegant notes of Dior’s Joy is a popular choice with its combination of bergamot, mandarin, rose, jasmine and sandalwood. The undeniably feminine scent is rooted in an intimate base of musks for a sophisticated finish. Make it your signature, for this classic house never gets it wrong!

Givenchy
A custom perfume created by Hubert de Givenchy for his eternal muse, Audrey Hepburn, L’Interdit also owes its unusual name - which in English translates to ‘forbidden’ - to the creative exchange between the two. Legend has it that when Givenchy asked Hepburn to bottle up the bespoke scent for sale, she replied, “Je vous l'interdit!”. This year sees a return of this smash hit from 1957, with the fresh face of Rooney Mara.

Dolce & Gabbana
The Only One, the latest offering from D&G introduces notes of violet and bergamot, combined with the heady heart of coffee, and base notes of vanilla and patchouli. Seductive in its approach, with an uplifting sweetness, who can say no to a dose of dolce?

Gucci
Unapologetically feminine with roses, tuberoses and jasmine creating a bouquet of power-packed florals, Gucci’s Nettare Di Fiori makes a gorgeous addition to the Gucci Bloom family. With the decidedly unexpected top note of ginger and a warm base of patchouli and musk, expect the headiness of a floral garland, fresh from the garden with this one.

Calvin Klein
CK’s Women, with its simply titled bottle, responds directly to the #MeToo movement. Its message of empowerment is led by the choice of informed women, Lupita Nyong’o and Saoirse Ronan, for its campaign. With a refreshing woodsy aroma, the scent marries the vibrant notes of orange flower with eucalyptus.
