Moët & Chandon aka Moët, a luxury French winery known for its pioneering spirit in winemaking, has recently introduced to India the Mini-matic: the world’s first champagne vending machine that lets you pop mini champagne bottles at the press of a button.

The bubbly journey | Mini-matic’s concept was designed back in 2013 at the ‘Destination Christmas’ section of the posh Selfridges store in London, out of Moët’s desire to appeal to entry-level holiday shoppers; and it has been receiving immense attention the world over since then.

And now, being seen as a spectacularly fresh way of enjoying the world’s most celebratory drink, the Mini-matic has become a simmering trend. One can find it in all fancy places like film festival after-parties, plush shopping destinations and renowned sporting events.

A lovechild of expert engineering and the quest for luxury | From a live crab vending machine in China to a mashed potato vending machine in Singapore, these ultra-convenient and fun-to-use devices have been making a mark in the food industry for a long time.
