THE WAIT IS OVER, LADY GAGA’S FIRST EVER BEAUTY LINE LAUNCHES ON AMAZON

Lady Gaga has a platform as big as any star can imagine and it was about time that she put it to great use. Given that makeup has been such an important part of Lady Gaga’s image, it comes as no surprise that the megastar is making an entrepreneurial move towards the world of cosmetics with Haus Laboratories. She is finally riding the high wave of success of her movie A Star Is Born, the Oscars, and the Met Gala, and we can’t be happier about her foray in the beauty world!

Interestingly, her line of makeup products is inspired by her own life and character from A Star Is Born where she struggled as an aspiring musician and created signature makeup looks for herself using drugstore products. The colourful, bold, and extravagant looks are now Gaga’s identity and she wants to enable the same form of expression for us all.

In an emotional open letter on Instagram, she shared that neither did she feel beautiful on the inside nor outside at a young age and she imitated her mother’s act of putting on makeup and getting ready every day to become courageous like her. It was with makeup that she realised she has the power to choose what she looks like and that’s how she invented ‘Lady Gaga’. She wishes the same for her fans and for anyone who wants to look like themselves. The brand’s catchphrase “our HAUS your rules” sounds befitting after getting to know the backstory.

In fact, the entire collection is modelled by diverse faces with heartfelt stories of their own. The whole positioning is absolutely gender-neutral to make fans believe that anyone can use HAUS makeup products without boundaries.

Lady Gaga claims that she wants to keep the products accessible and affordable to all and that’s why she chose to partner with the e-commerce giant Amazon. The products will be available as of July 15th on Amazon for pre-order and will be shipped out in September. Unsurprisingly, they are already selling out fast!
