The reigning tulle by Kendall Jenner | In a hot pink tiered tulle gown, leading the best-dressed ladies was the supermodel Kendall Jenner. The stunning high-low gown is a part of the Giambattista Valli x H&M collection (available in H&M stores and bound to fly off the shelves very soon!), with a detachable long train which is a win-win whether you want to make it look like a cocktail outfit or a barbie-like bachelorette dress. Tulle is the best way to add magnificence to your partywear and what’s better than having the same one in your wardrobe.

Feather-frenzy by Dua Lipa | From footwear to bags SS19 has been all about feathers. How about a feather embellished gown? We say, yes please and so does the Grammy-winning ‘New Rules’ singer Dua Lipa. At this year’s Gala, she brought some big-dress energy with her over-the-top voluminous one-shouldered orange gown covered with red maribou feathers, which indeed is one of the most glamorous gowns designed by Valentino for SS19 collection – the thigh-high slit,  high-wattage jewels, slicked-back hair, and strappy Jimmy Choo Minny sandals make for a statement look.

Soft-glamour by Stella Maxwell | A red-carpet patron, Stella effortlessly exudes glamour in an ice blue one-shouldered high-slit gown adorned in Swarovski crystals and silver-tone scale embellishments – the flowy silk-chiffon fabric, the perfectly draped cape and lady’s impeccable charm that gives this soft-glamour Atelier Versace gown undivided attention. Take your notes to add simple glam-ups with light jewelry and soft-curl hair to not let the accessories take away the shine from that outfit.

The sunshine yellow by Jasmine Tookes | Amidst heavy embellishment, Victoria’s Secret model took the sunny and refreshing route in her Georges Chakra Spring 2019 Couture gown – its tie-dye tangerine hue, ruffled shoulder embellishment, and asymmetrical hem make it the perfect summer-time evening gown. Its glowing fabric in beautiful ombre shade definitely calls for diamond accessories, pull out your lovely diamond danglers and look nothing less than a ray of sunshine in a yellow silk gown.

Heavily embroidered gown by Winnie Harlow | Winnie Harlow commanded attention in a custom-made Art Nouveau heritage inspired strapless floor-length gown which is meticulously hand embroidered with motifs of reinvented nature and that voluminous black tulle drape just added to the drama. The pops of pink and leafy greens in her dress were complemented with a dazzling mix-gem necklace, matching earrings, bangle and ring by Fabergé. If a full-embroidered gown is not what you aim to wear for a wedding, you’re missing out on some real glamour.

Gowns have a heartful history as an occasion wear and even now the glory remains as pristine and untouched as ever. Make them a yin to your yang of dressing for cocktail parties, wedding receptions, dinner get-togethers, bachelorettes, and almost any occasion that holds the vibe ‘extra special’.
