On a forever hunt for the most exclusive wine? Look no further than Liber Pater Vintage Bordeaux

If you are one of those wine collectors, whose appeal lies in being able to amass a diverse collection of wines made from different grape varieties, regions, and vintages, then we are sure your hunt for wine delicacy must be a never-ending process. After all, we all agree that there is a certain luxury in acquiring distinct bottles, some of which are rare and rather valuable. If you enjoy one-of-a-kind varieties, how about opting for the most expensive and precious one? Well, only 550 bottles of the exquisite Liber Pater’s 2015 vintage are produced and just 240 are set for release in September this year – because Loïc Pasquet is certainly not willing to share the left ones which he has reportedly kept for his daughter, so you just can't skip on the launching numbers. Make notes!

Are you all set to indulge in the luxury of wine?

Usually, when it comes to record-breaking bottle prices, Burgundy has been leading the way around the world. But Bordeaux is set to make even the Domaine de la Romanée Conti seem like a bargain when it releases the next vintage Liber Pater collection for a stratospheric $34,110 per bottle – a collection that takes everything seriously, including the label art which they change every year. The collection is a mission by owner and winemaker, Loïc Pasquet, who dwells on his ancestors’ practices and believes in keeping the original taste of Bordeaux intact. Owing to his unique winemaking skills inspired by the 19th century, we are sure no one makes wine quite like him.

More than price tags

No price can truly pay righteousness to Bordeaux’s 150-year antiquity. Located in Graves, Liber Pater’s 2015 vintage is made entirely from ungrafted vines and comprises a mixture of rare grape varieties once commonly grown in Bordeaux, including Castets, Tarney-Coulant, and Pardotte. The vintage has only been vinified in amphorae (ancient Greek jugs with two handles and a narrow neck) which means the wine did not see any oak. A quite impressive insight right?

Taste of the rare elixir

Liber Pater possesses wine of honesty, finesse, and elegance, like the old taste of Bordeaux pre-phylloxera. You’ll get a sweet hint of floral aromas and crunchy black forest fruits, with silky tannins and fine finish. Match your glass of Liber Peter with Asian dishes, mushrooms, hearty fish courses like tuna, pasta or cheese and it will only make your taste buds dance in approval.

The Real and true taste of Bordeaux, Liber Pater is a great wine that can be drunk young or old, today or up to the next 150 years. Do secure your bottles from the limited edition because you won’t mind a few thousand bucks over this old vintage of the rare and famous wine collection to get added in your wine cellar.
