Sabyasachi Mukherjee Just Dropped His New S/S 2020 Collection On Instagram & The World Will Not Be The Same
It was a cold winter afternoon when Sabyasachi took to Instagram to announce his new collection titled 'Neo Bohemians' with the public. There were no references given, just a black and white video featuring mixed prints and his signature logo. And when the collection was finally launched it sure did open to a thunderous response! Not only was it carefully curated but also colour coordinated. From bright colours to subdued glitter, Sabyasachi's spring-summer collection was this and much more. The designer also introduced two new accessories- the 'mehendi shoes' and the 'nani bucket bag' that would definitely set a new high as far as summer 2020 weddings are concerned. Be ready to be mesmerised by choli blouses, vintage-looking anarkalis, khadi saris that resemble tulle and of course bright colour-contrasting lehengas. Itching to know more? Here's a peek into his eponymous summer 2020 collection.
The Modern Sangeet
Move over monotone attires as this summer is all about donning brightest hues which will remind you of the ’70s Bollywood films and Zeenat Aman. Everything from the short kurti to those chevron details is love. Plus, it is such a comfy outfit for a sangeet ceremony. Great for when you want to dance like there's no one watching.
Mehendi Shoes
Mehendi can be quite messy but no when you adorn these slip-ons that resemble mule shoes and are a great upgrade to the juttis. They are so versatile, you can wear them at your post-wedding dos too!
Khadi Sarees
At first look, they look like net sarees but zoom in further and you'll applaud the intricacy through which the Khadi material is beaten down to look so ethereally beautiful!
The Ultimate Lehenga
Need we say more? Beach weddings or a quaint temple one, this is the ultimate lehenga that is going to dominate your spring-summer 2020 feed.
The Nani Bucket
A modern twist to a bucket bag, the Nani bucket bag can easily be worn with both Indo western and traditional attires too. Love the Sabyasachi monogram on it and the beautiful embroidery that it comes with!
You can be rest assured that this collection is going to break the internet for sure. So, before it goes off the shelves, it is better if you make inquiries with him soon.
