The 32nd edition of Lotus Makeup India Fashion Week organised by FDCI in association with EbixCash sent a thrilling wave into the fashion world with almost 100 designers showcasing the best of their work. The artistic bend of all the designers with the glamour quotient cracked the code on how to steal the attention of every fashion enthusiast. And we bet the sheer brilliance of Lotus Makeup India Fashion Week SS 2020 is on the way to infuse Indian glamour in the global fashion world. With 'MyFashionMyTribe' theme, heavy opulence and fab fashion statements were all over the runway. Though we have bid goodbye to the fashion event, here are some unmissable collections and moments from the runway to help you enjoy the glitzy-ritzy hangover. From renowned celebrity showstoppers to eccentric beauty looks to arresting outfits, here is what you should not miss.

Day 1

One thing that undoubtedly dominated the runway was the colourful start that was based on the theme #MyFashionMyTribe. Ikai by Ragini Ahuja showcased its creativity with her timeless designs and colours. Ragini's collection 'Quwa' reflected its inspiration from Persian, Tibetan, Arabic and Uzbek lifestyle. Moving ahead this fashion affair was enhanced by Rimzim Dadu's collection that was all about bringing ultra-modern statements on the runway. With metallic drapes and edgy silhouettes made from steel wires and metal cords, the collection received infinite compliments and attention. The first day of the fashion show came to an end with the designers Shyma and Pranav who showcased graphic tees, sequinned dresses and loads of denim. Not just this, the diva and the face that defines beauty, Disha Patani walked the ramp as the showstopper in a white t-shirt and blue bell-bottom jeans. Though her look was casual, her vibes spilled the fashion beans!

Day 2

If you were expecting Day 2 of this fashion week to be eventful and fashionably thick, well it did not disappoint at all! Hues of Spring, the artistic creation of four designers showcased traditional fashion but in a not-so-traditional way. The ethnic garments were upgraded by the modern twists of ruffles, fringed sarees, Assamese silk and much more. Later the glam quotient was enhanced when Sharmila Tagore with her daughter Soha Ali Khan walked the runway in pat and muga made from Assamese silk. Not to miss, the quirky looks infused by the designer, Nitin Bal Chauhan whose collection visually portrayed mental illness but with a chic spin. The pointy collars with easy silhouettes, weirdly cool hairpieces, and out-of-the-box makeup effortlessly set a tone of peculiarity but in an artistic way. Later, Day 2 seemed more like a global fashion scenario when Falguni Shane Peacock introduced long-legged models in snazzy-jazzy clothes with high tempo music in the background. With signature glitter, feather, eye-catching prints, and Yami Gautam as the showstopper in a flowy dress with asymmetrical hem and unique prints, the brand brought high energy to the show.

Day 3

Day 3 of the LMIFW was all about our favourite celebs and the grandeur! The unique amalgamation of gorgeous creations and celebrity glam is what stood out. Mahima Mahajan's collection, Miroir displayed vibrant hues, tropical prints and flowy silhouettes embellished with kaleidoscopic embroidery. After enjoying the unique creations by Mahima, the show onlookers loved  Athiya Shetty walking the ramp in a lehenga choli enhanced with shimmer work and tropical prints with an elegant necklace. Ahead in the show, Neha Dhupia made a captivating appearance in bright red dress and a floor-length coat of the same colour for Nidhika Shekhar's collection, The Red Phase. Nidhika's collection was inspired by the menstrual journey of every woman. The next one in line to dazzle was Divya Reddy's collection 'Aagami' which was a tribute to nature and its beautiful elements. The blend of fashion and activism included chic ruffles, embroidery, mesh, and soothing tones but the icing on the cake was when the stunning Rakul Preet pranced down the runway!

Day 4

The fourth and final day of LMIFW was filled with jaw-dropping collections and glitzy celebrity appearances. Talking about minimalism, in an offsite show the Lovebirds Studios was the one that made its mark with breezy outfits dipped in soft hues. The lightweight dresses, skirts combos, and even tuxedos made its way to the stylebook of every fashionista. And if you're wondering about the most stylish and coolest collection, it was undoubtedly by duo Shivan and Narresh that showcased resort-wear featuring signature swimsuits, puffer jackets, and jumpsuits enhanced with lacework. The best thing about Shivan and Narresh was how they introduced body positivity with their plus-size models. Later in the show, Manish Arora the globally renowned designer showcased his collection in neon, shimmer, and sequence. Manish's awe-inspiring collection looked like a dream of every fashionista. Adding wow element to the last day of the show, Kangana Ranaut pulled the curtains down as a showstopper in a white blouse featuring a plunging neck pulled with a tulle skirt and boots.
