Sport the cowboy trend from winter to summer with these versatile pieces

Fringes on bags and brown leather hats, big blanket coats and animal print wraps, waistlines cinched with wide rustic belts – these are a few of our favourite things; and we’re happy to see that these favourite things of ours are in vogue, not just in the current season but also in the spring to come.

The cowboy trend is fantastically suited to winter with all its heaviness and functionality. Fall 2018 collections have a great deal of it – Max Mara, Isabel Marant and Ports 1961 being our particular favourites. You can choose to make a statement with an animal print cape or adopt a more polished alternative of a coat with some fringe detail on the sleeves.

Dior’s Cruise 2019 collection, with its fresh feminine take on fashion inspired by the Wild West, is mesmerizing. We can’t keep our eyes off the enchanting pairing of raw redneck elements with dainty tulle.

Louis Vuitton Cruise 2019, too, has a prominent cowboy presence, indicating that the trend is going to go well into the new year and will have unique offerings for our summer wardrobe.

Mount the cowboy wagon today – start with blanket coats, fringed suede jackets, Max Mara’s cowboy print knits and over-the-knee boots, and gallop away into Dior’s sensual tiered tulle dresses kissed in the right places by cowboy toughness, as the mercury rises – all the while keeping the indispensible leather hat a constant.
